Downstairs is the Yili Road subway station of Line 10. It is very convenient to transfer to Lujiazui and Jing'an Temple. Business restaurants, convenience stores, and printing shops in the surrounding Gubei commercial district can be reached within a few minutes' walk. Whether it is for temporary customer appointments or late night material replenishment, there is no need to cross districts. The entire check-in process took a fast track, and the front desk helped me complete the registration in just two minutes. Not only did they print out the meeting materials I needed in advance, but they also proactively marked three different levels of business banquet restaurants in the surrounding area. They even wrote down the best route to the industrial park during the morning rush hour the next day, saving me a lot of time searching for guides.

I thought it was just a high-end hotel specializing in new Chinese style, but after staying for two nights, I realized that it perfectly blended Song style elegance with urban convenience, becoming the most surprising achievement of my trip to Shanghai.
  The location of the hotel is too convenient. It takes only 3 minutes to walk from the Yili Road station of Line 10. No need to drag luggage to bypass the road. The surrounding area is the Golden City Road in Gubei. There are many small cafes and western style shops hidden in the wutong trees all over the street. You can walk for about 10 minutes to the Cheng Shifa Art Museum. If you want to visit the busy business circle, you can take a taxi to the Hongqiao Business District for more than 10 minutes, which completely balances the noisy and quiet. The butler accompanied me throughout the check-in process, from the celadon glazed tiles in the lobby to the ink paintings in the hallway. He slowly explained to me the Song style details hidden in the design, and even marked the nearby morning running route on the hand drawn map that I casually mentioned.

If you want to have a cup of tea, the local Longjing tea has been prepared in advance on the tea tray by the window, and even two bags of Manner branded hanging ear coffee have been placed, balancing traditional elegance and modern convenience.
  The most unforgettable thing is the small surprise hidden in the hotel. There are thousands of classic old records in the vinyl record room on the 8th floor. In the evening, I don't want to go out, so I just snuggle up on the retro sofa and listen to a few old songs. The sky outside the window slowly darkens, and even time slows down. The Huaiyang Cuisine made in the Black Pearl Restaurant on the 12th floor is particularly authentic. Order a fermented chestnut goose liver and eat it slowly with the night view beside the window.
